Question and Answers about our NEC IP Phone Systems
Q) After-hours, we want to have available to our customers an option where they can call in and make a selection to reach a live person on duty. Can the system be set to automatically call our after-hours person's cell phone and patch them into the caller live?
A) Yes. That feature comes standard on our system if you choose to have it set up.

Q) What happens to the phone system's programing is there is a power outage to our building?
A) All programing is permanently maintained. Additionally, an internal battery provides short-term backup of the system date and time and the Caller ID log for up to 10-14 days. When the power comes back on, the system restarts with all programming and the time and date intact!
An Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) can be added so that the phone system can even be fully operational during a power outage.
